wikipedia:
This album continues the band's exploration into country music and Americana with tracks like "Alaska Country" and "Sally Was a Good Old Girl". It still stays true to its rock roots as well. Despite continuing their growth as a band, the album did not fair so well in America.

Scented Gardens Of The Mind:
This quartet struggled to survive in the late seventies, playing unfashionable instrumental progressive rock similar to Camel and Ange at their height. Wendling and Labroche are like Bardens and Latimer with their fine melodies and musical dialogues. Personally I don't care too much for this, but Wlud offer fair entertainment for symphonic rock fans.

Tapestry of Delights:
Way was formerly with Curved Air. These albums provided him with further opportunities to showcase his superb violin playing. Canis Lupus is a good example of their work. It was produced by former King Crimson saxophonist Ian McDonald. Side one was vocal and side two instrumental. The lengthy Cadenza, which opens side two, is a good example of the band's instrumental prowess giving each member solo breathing space. Chansons Sans Paroles captures the band at its most relaxed and builds beautifully into a 'holocaust of sound' as Darryl describes it. The final cut, McDonald's Lament, which Darryl dedicated to Ian for his work on the album, featured a sensitive viola solo by Darryl. A band worth investigation by fans of classically-influenced progressive rock.
Ian Mosley went on to fame and fortune with Marillion.

Fuzz Acid & Flowers:
The GTO's were formerly known as the Laurel Canyon Ballet Company. These five girls were signed to Straight after the label owner, Frank Zappa hired Miss Christine as a baby sitter and heard her songs. Zappa produced most of the album and invited some Mothers Of Invention to form the backing group: Jimmy Carl Black, Don Preston, Roy Estrada, Lowell George (who wrote and produced several tracks), Ian Underwood, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart and Nicky Hopkins also appear in places.
The songs are notably dealing with the groupies phenomenon and the original pressing came with a booklet "The Groupie Papers" . The GTO's also appeared on one track on the Wild Man Fischer album and on the inner gatefold of Three Dog Night's Suitable For Framing.
A long time girlfriend of Alice Cooper, Miss Christine died of an heroin overdose in 1972. Miss Pamela married Michael Des Barres, the singer of the english group Silverhead, and later wrote several books about her various experiences. ~ (Stephane Rebeschini/Vladimir Zhigulin)
