This was one of Birmingham's top bands who were joined by Roy Wood after the first couple of 45s. They met with no Chart success and in mid-1965 became Mike Sheridan's Lot. All your 45s are now quite collectable.The most accessible guide to their music is the Edsel compilation which includes all eight 45 tracks, the two 'A' sides by Mike Sheridan's Lot (a later version of this band); two previously unreleased songs by The Nightriders:- covers of Vince Taylor's Brand New Cadillac and The Shirelles' A Thing Of The Past and Make Them Understand, Roy Wood's first published composition, which was pretty naff really. Overall, it's an album of solid but unexceptional beat music.
