Fuzz Acid & Flowers:
A communal hippie band from Los Angeles who played an amalgam of psychedelia, classical, folk, jazz and latin styles. Their first album (produced by Dave Hassinger) is the best. The band's original drummer Alan Malarowitz appears only on two tracks of Melon, their third album:- I'm Happy Today and Join The Band. The rest of the album was recorded with a session drummer Ricky Fataar, most famous for his appearance in the "rockumentary" The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash (he's The Rutles' drummer Stig O'Hara), and touring with The Beach Boys in the early 1970's.
