    In June 1967, the new line-up of Petards formed. Arno Dittrich a new man sitting on drum set, which is sometimes traded in those days as the best drummer in Germany. The Petards win the talent competition of the SWF, and soon released their first LP 'A Deeper Blue'.
    Their single 'Shoot me up to the moon' placed on number one SWF charts, the successor of 'Golden Glass' is not be beaten.
    The Petards recognized that not only the music but also important for their image.
    In 1968, their second LP 'The Petards' with the number-one hits "Pretty Liza' and 'Misty Iceland' published. The band is touring through Germany and offices also have some concerts in the then CSSR.
    1969, The Petards in the pop-poll survey conducted by the 'Musik Express' in the category 'Best New Group' Personalia in the first place. Your LP placed in the category 'LP of the Year' at the 1st place.
    The Petards performed under pseudonyms. Under the name 'Zonk' they covered closed for the album 'Creedence Clearwater Revival hits Done By A Group Called Zonk'. This album was released in Germany, USA, Canada, Japan and Australia. Under the pseudonym 'Flittermouse' were published two singles with the CCR cover songs 'Suzie Q' and 'Lodi' and 'Fortunate Son' and. A very rare LP of the Petards -Vermuchtnisses is the solo album of Horst Ebert, in 1971 tried as a singer / songwriter and under the name 'Johannes' 'First Album' of only 100 copies.
