The roots of
Morpheus,
undocumented until the recent Garden of Delights CD release, they originated
circa Spring 1971 from the town of Warburg (about 70 miles east of Dortmund)
and existed until early 1975.
The CD documents a studio rehearsal session and
has fine studio quality, with four of the five tracks penned by band leader
Gerold Adler. The opening Eddie Marshall number is given a distinct Krauty
feel, as a relaxed Zappa/Mothers cum Xhol jazzy mood, with really nice
electric-saxophone work, and elsewhere we have moods that feel kinda Nine
Days Wonder or Colosseum, in a free-floaty mode. I could compare their hybrid
to Annexus Quam, Munju and Embryo, with some nice lazy Latino and bluesy
diversions. Excellent stuff through and through!

Sadly, the 3rd Depositfile seems to have been removed - any chance of re-upping it (in lossless), as I'd really like to hear this album (the Morpheus album is great, by the way - thanks for that).
(I would have gone straight for the Fileserve files, but I've been having real problems with Fileserve generally - every time I try to access it, it tells me my IP address has failed the Captcha too many times, even though it hasn't! Don't know what's going on there.....)
