Tapestry of Delights:
This band burst onto the scene with considerable publicity in 1968 on account of Noel Redding being the bassist with The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Landon was a former session singer and also one of The Flowerpot Men. His extensive vocal range gave the band's music much of its flavour. They issued three singles which met with no success in the UK, although Magic Lanterns was a No. 1 hit in Holland and their druggy music featured in these singles and on album tracks like Mr. Moonshine may be of interest to readers.
Noel Redding left the band half way through the second album to go to the States to front a US/UK band called Road. He later formed the Noel Redding Band in 1975. Redding's departure meant disintegration for the band. Leverton joined Juicy Lucy and later became a member of Savoy Brown's Boogie Brother's with Eric Dillon.
