The album was the work of a session group which comprised among others Deep Purple members, Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover and Ian Paice and Albert Lee and Big Jim Sullivan. It was masterminded by producer Derek Lawrence. It's basically R&B played in a hard rock style. It's mostly comprised of cover versions, including Creation's Makin' Time, and is notable for Earl Jordan's strong vocals.
