the Crack in the Cosmic Egg:
Apparently the foremost progressive from the Austrian Tirol region. Their sole documented album is a very symphonic opus, containing only three long tracks, including a 21 minute side 2 opus. The style is kind of instrumental The Nice and Egg territory, heavy on the classical motifs and keyboards, but with the addition of some rather bizarre synthesizer sounds and some rather off-the-wall pomp and bombast. The engineer is said to be the classical producer Franz Koch.
