Produced by Felix Pappalardi (who was already with West in Jolliver Arkansaw), the first solo output of the former leader of The Vagrants contained essentially hard rock tracks a la Cream and a cover of Dylan's This Wheel's On Fire. Its success lead to the formation of the group Mountain, with Corky Laing and Steve Knight.
N.D.Smart was the former drummer with The Remains and Kangaroo.
