One of the more commercial acts to come from San Antonio, Texas in the 1960s, Perron, Cabaza, Szuch, Trieber and Holzhaus had all previously been with The Mind's Eye. It had been speculated that Bill Ash (ex The Stoics) had been in The Children as a version of The Stoics Enough Of What I Need appeared on the flip of The Children's first single. Chris Holzhaus has, however, told us that he played on all The Children's recordings, and that Bill Ash had only been an early member of The Mind's Eye.
Mike Marechal replaced Trieber after Trieber was Killed in A Drag Boat accident at McQueeney Lake outside San Antonio Texas in '68.
Cassell Webb was later in Saddlesore and went on to production work and a solo career. She is now based in the UK. Perron also enjoyed a brief solo career but sadly committed suicide, whilst Holzhaus went on to Eastwood Review.
