It's Ray Russell-time again, which means at least some good savage progressive style guitar. Typical seventies progressive rock tracks are effectively alternated with a few almost Procol Harum-like numbers, characterised by the plaintive voice of Alan Greed. This combination makes for a partly successful concept, sounding at times a bit too self-serious, but on the whole it's quite listenable. "Demons of the city crucify your mind..." is unfortunately a rather representative quote from the lyrics and a sign of the times par excellence. Good, but not too good. (Marcel Koopman).
